Install the CleanFollow extension from the Chrome Web Store, open Instagram in a tab, then click the CleanFollow icon in your browser toolbar. Sign in with your email, Google, or Facebook account, and click "Start Scan" to analyze your following list.

Yes. CleanFollow uses adaptive rate limiting with randomized delays (8-18 seconds between actions), automatic pauses, and respects Instagram's hourly and daily limits. All operations mimic natural human behavior to keep your account safe.

When the "Keep Mutuals" filter is enabled, CleanFollow protects accounts that follow you back (mutual followers). Only accounts that don't follow you back will be added to the unfollow list.

Make sure you are logged into Instagram in the same browser. Refresh the Instagram page (F5), then try again. If the issue persists, try disabling other Instagram-related extensions temporarily.

Open the CleanFollow extension, go to the "My Plan" tab, click "Manage Subscription". This opens your Stripe billing portal where you can cancel, change plans, or update your payment method.

No. All scanning and unfollowing happens locally in your browser. We never store your Instagram following list, credentials, or personal data on our servers. Only your account email, plan, and usage count are stored for billing purposes.
